This image shows Sh 2-106 , a compact region where stars are formed in the constellation Cygnus (The Swan). A newly formed star called S106 IR is shrouded in dust, in the center of the image, and is the cause of this form that looks like an hourglass , which is composed of the gas cloud surrounding it and turbulence visible inside. Esta imagen muestra el Sh 2-106, una región compacta donde se forman las estrellas en la constelación del Cisne (The Swan). Una estrella recién formada llamada S106 IR está envuelta de polvo, en el centro de la imagen, y es la causa de esa forma que se parece a un reloj de arena, que esta compuesta por la nube de gas que lo rodea y de la turbulencia visible en su interior.
